This is a role playing game. If you don't know what that means, then why are you even here?
1. Try to limit the profanity because people of all ages are welcome here. I have deleted the censored words list, but if things get out of hand I will bring it back. You don't need to swear repeatedly in General, or anywhere else, for that matter.
2. IT IS NOT my fault if you are exposed to things you don't like. If, however, you spot someone breaking the rules, be sure to tell an admin and they will clear it up soon as possible.
3. No bashing members out of character! Don't walk in randomly on someone's post and start insulting them or something like that. Don't hold in character things against the person behind the character!
4. Sexual content is not permitted on proboards. This includes sexual stuff out of character. You have been warned, and I will not tolerate it. If you need to have it, due to a plotline or anything else, please just skip it and say it happened.
5. Please don't advertise your site on here. If you'd like your site to be an affiliate with Taion, then message the admin and provide them with a link and banner to your site. Including your site's link in the provided space in your profile is fine.
6. This site has a form for you to fill out for your character, and your acceptance will be based on that. Feel free to add to the form or leave out what you please, but for the most part, we'd like the form to be fully completed.
7. You can choose where you want your character to live. If you'd like a sub-board for your character's apartment/house, message the admin. Please be reasonable. Only the top dogs would have the penthouses, and a student living alone would not be able to afford one of the nicer apartments.
8. One character to an account, and please have your character's name in the screenname. Profile pictures are not required, but they are nice to have, so we know what your characters look like.
9. Try to work out your difference's in PMs. Don't have a fight in General board or OOC.. That's not what they're there for. If things are getting out of hand and you are being insulted (swears, being called a bad poster, etc) then pm the admin and they will handle it.
10. There is to be no powerplaying. At all. Anyone caught powerplaying will be deleted immediately without warning. This is your warning. If you don't know what powerplay is, I'll tell you.

Frank: Frank slapped Bob and Bob cried.
Bob: Bob picked up Frank and threw him over the bridge and Frank died.
11. There, y'see that cute little box at the top of the screen? That tells you what season it is, and pretty much everything you need to know while roleplaying. If it says the season is spring and it's rainy, please, do not have your character building a snowman.
12. These RPG is intermediate to advanced. You do not have to post five paragraphs every time you roleplay. Two is good enough. And yes, paragraphs are a must. Just so you know, everytime your character is speaking, a new paragraph must be started. The staff reserve the right to pm anyone they see fit to tell them to watch their roleplaying. And yes, good spelling is also a must. I cannot stress this enough.
13. I'd recommend you mix up your characters a bit. We can't have all the characters on Taion heartbroken and depressed. We also can't have them all out to kill their father's murderer. Let's try for a little individuality, shall we?
14. Please help out the site by advertising where you can, where it is permitted. We do not want to hear you have been spamming some site's chatbox with our link. But if a site has a section for advertising, then by all means, do advertise us. If that site requires a banner exchange first, well, I guess we're screwed, unless someone wants to make us a banner.
15. Your character can be whoever you want them to be. But please, don't join and automatically say your character is the most popular demon and has killed five hundred people. Your character's reputation will need to be built along with the members of this site. You can look around and decide if you want to join a demon gang, or your character might be approached by a gang and asked to join. Or your character could be new to their powers. Be original and have fun.
16. Your character does not have to be a creature from the Other world. It can be just a normal human, if you want. But since this RPG is mostly demon-based, then your normal human will mostly likely be encountering vampires and demons and the like soon enough.
That wasn't so hard, now, was it? I know it seems like a lot, but really, it isn't. Just be polite and courteous and try to use your brains at least half the time. Any questions, just pm the admin.
